Recently, United States homeowners were surveyed by TD Bank in order to find out how individuals feel about the mortgage process, the issues they may face during the process, and the various factors that can be useful in order to purchase a home. After conducting the survey, TD Bank discovered that 61% of homeowners in Florida believe it is the optimal time to buy a home, which is a 10% increase from last year’s study.
Additionally, after analyzing results, TD Bank discovered the following:
- Homeowners throughout Florida were 42% less likely to be first-time homebuyers in contrast to persons in New York City who were 66% less likely to be first-time homebuyers and individuals in Boston who were 54% less likely to be first-time homebuyers.
- When compared to persons from other regions, homebuyers in Florida experienced less stress when purchasing their most recent home. In fact, only 9% of Florida homebuyers felt that the process was very stressful.
- 38% of Florida homebuyers stated they have had “excellent” experiences with their lenders and bankers when purchasing their first home. This statistic demonstrates a 15% increase in the past two years.
